Anyone who has known me long enough will know that I'm a big fan of Garfield comic strips.

Today, June 19, is Garfield's birthday. He's 31 years old... not bad for a cat, eh?

The unthinkable has happened in the last year. Jon Arbuckle, the nerdy eternal bachelor has a girlfriend!! Simply amazing. I'm actually hoping it lasts.

Here's to another 30 years Garfield... Jon... Odie... Pooky (the teddy bear)... Liz (Jon's girlfriend)... and all the rest!
